SOV Roofing & Waterproofing is a family-owned and operated business with over 15 years of experience. We specialize in commercial and residential roofing in the lower mainland and are experience in torch-on & TPO roofs. SOV is seeking a hands-on, full time permanent foreman/team leader for flat roof installation, with a positive attitude, ready for new challenges, highly motivated to join our team. This position is physically demanding, need a lot of bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks. We offer an open and friendly working environment.

This position does not require Canadian work experience

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications.

**What we expect from you**:

- Minimum 1 or 2 years or apprentices or roofing experience
- Experience with local constructions methods and materials is an asset (but not required)
- Responsible and organized.
- Work independently and collaborating with the team.
- Drivers license or a way to arrive at the job sites in the morning.
- Valid class 5 driving license is an asset.
- Able to be physically active: This position is physically demanding - Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads (able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs), and repetitive tasks.
- Able to communicate effectively with the customer, suppliers, and team members.
- Able to read and understand a drawing.
- Able to work from heights (no fear of heights).
- Knowledge of different types of roofing systems and fasteners considered an asset.
- Ability to install different types of roofing systems.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools for the trade considered an asset.
- Able to take decision by yourself during the installation to archive the final assembly.
- Commitment to high standards for quality and excellence in all aspects of the job.
- Strong attention to detail following RCABC requirements.
- Able to follow the management team guidance.
- Able to follow the safety rules as per management and WBC requirements.

**What you are going to do**:

- Install, repair, and replace built-up roofing systems.

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
