Roseway Manor is a 66 bed Long Term Care Facility located in Shelburne, NS. We are actively recruiting certified Continuing Care Assistants. We have multiple positions available including full time, part time, and casual.

Our 66 residents from all walks of life and have varying ranges of abilities and needs. As a Continuing Care Assistant at Roseway Manor, you will seek to meet the needs of the "whole" person through Roseway Manor's Vision, Mission and Philosophy of Care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care
- Serve meal trays, feed, or assist residents with their meals
- Weigh, lift, turn and re-position residents
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Demonstrate effective communication skills (written and verbal), initiative and empathy
- Prepare residents for recreation programs and accompany them if required
- Make beds and maintain resident rooms
- Stock supplies
- Maintain equipment (clean and in well working order)

**Qualifications**:

- CCA Certificate or enrolled in a CCA Program
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Passion for working with the aging population with a resident first approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.56-$23.28 per hour
