**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Utilize extensive carpentry experience to provide hands-on support and expertise when needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Collaborate with the owner/project lead to develop project estimates (during pre-construction), develop and update project schedules and temporary site layout.
- Monitor subcontractor relationships, monitor their performance, and address any concerns promptly.
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates.
- Manage project budget and expenses, including tracking costs and approving invoices.
- Utilize construction management software to track project milestones, communicate with team members, and manage project documents.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years experience in new build construction, interior fit-up, multi-family, and commercial projects.
- Strong carpentry background with hands-on experience in construction
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents.
- Familiarity with construction management software for project tracking and communication (preferred)
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of subcontractors and workers.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and cost control principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadline.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders involved in the project.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance.

**Salary**: $56,896.11-$95,000.00 per year
