**SUMMARY**

Our Supply Chain Planner is responsible for the development of a weekly inventory planning to support the company's aggressive growth. Primary responsibility includes maintaining the daily production operations schedule in a timely and accurate manner. Provides support to the Production team to achieve respective operation objectives by assisting in planning, scheduling and direction of production and operations. Responsibility also includes reviewing production capacity internally and at co-packers, supporting procurement replenishment buying, driving supply chain efficiency and improving throughput. This role is required to have strong interpersonal skills to provide support and expertise to cross-functional teams, such as Logistics, Purchasing, Operations, R&D, and QA.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create weekly schedules from forecasts, trend lines, rolling weekly sales averages
- Prepare and publish weekly production schedule for packaging and cook rooms
- Monitor status and follow up on daily production attainment
- Troubleshoot any problems with production and adjust/prioritize schedules as necessary
- Maintain and oversee inventory levels in warehouses and distribution centers
- Reconcile daily WIP used
- Communicate regularly with production supervisors, QA, maintenance and R&D on production status
- Support managing a 52-week rolling production plan, internally and at co-packers
- Develop and implement tools to determine inventory targets based on sales projections and champion initiatives to achieve those target levels. Determine the balance between service level (fill rate), cost of carrying inventory
- Analyze current production numbers and workflow; identify opportunities for improvement to ensure we utilize the full production capability.
- Develop and manage capacity analysis tool to monitor production capacity and long-term plan(s)
- Create, maintain, receive all co-packer jobs in Syspro, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions
- Additional duties may be assigned to support other Supply Chain projects or team members

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Relevant degree, diploma or experience in scheduling, Supply planning, inventory management, or related discipline
- At least two (2) years' experience in Supply Chain and Food Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods in the food industry is an asset
- Able to work autonomously with mínimal supervision in high pressure environments.
