As part of our Business Development team, the Proposal Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, timely proposals that support client engagement and business growth.

As a Proposal and Communications Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our proposal management and communications activities. You will manage coordinating incoming procurement requests, creating professional, detailed proposals, and ensuring seamless coordination with the sales team, as well as assist in creating and managing internal and external communications. Reporting to the Corporate Development Officer, this role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong writing expertise, and the ability to collaborate within a dynamic team environment.

**Responsibilities**

**Proposal Development and Coordination**:

- Review procurement requests and contracts, gathering necessary details to create high-quality proposals tailored to client expectations.
- Generate professional, visually engaging proposals that include visual aids, graphs, and technical content, primarily using MS office.
- Deliver completed proposals to the sales team for presentation to clients.
- Ensure all proposals meet timelines and submission deadlines, aligning with client and internal expectations.

**Pipeline Management**:

- Manage the proposal pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring the sales team completes check-ins on outstanding proposals.
- Use CRM tools to maintain accurate records and ensure follow-ups are conducted on time.
- **Communications and Marketing Support**:

- Manage Forged’s internal marketing and social media activities.
- Other communications and marketing activities as required.

**Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with the sales team, marketing team, and data scientist to improve proposal quality, maximize profitability, and support customer inquiries.
- Leverage data insights to make informed decisions on pricing by region and project.
- Participate in recurring Business Development team meetings to align on priorities and progress.

**Technical and Contractual Expertise**:

- Experience in procurement platforms and tendering systems to support submission process.
- Work with the Corporate Development Officer to ensure all cost details and technical inputs are accurate and comprehensive.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in proposal coordination, technical writing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and the ability to maintain accurate data and workflows.
- Exceptional technical writing and document creation skills, with the ability to incorporate visual aids and graphs.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with procurement requests and contracts is preferred.
- Familiarity with tendering platforms is an asset.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and proactive, with high energy and a collaborative mindset.
