Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and drivers to ensure on-time delivery
- Track and monitor the status of shipments to provide accurate updates to customers
- Communicate with drivers to provide necessary instructions and address any issues or delays
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any transportation or logistics-related problems
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to manage and optimize freight movements
- Maintain accurate records of all communication, transactions, and documentation related to shipments
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of transportation industry practices, including 3PL and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other related software
- Strong analytical skills to assess transportation routes, costs, and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
