We are looking for Summer Staff to join our team from the end of June to the end of August 2024

**Shift: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday**

**Start Date: TBD - Flexible**

**Pay rate depends on ECE Classification Level & experience in the field**

**Classification not required**

** Experience is preferred but not required**

Grace Note is a reputable child care center located in Halifax. We offer quality child care to children 4 months-5 years of age, following a play-based, emergent curriculum. We have 5 classrooms:

- Infant (4-18 months)
- Junior Toddler (18-24 months)
- Senior Toddler (2-3 years)
- Junior Preschool (3-4 years)
- Senior Preschool (4-5 years)

Our team consists of 11 educators, a support staff, a cook, and a director

We are a close-knit team that offers immense emotional support, positivity, encouragement, and compassion toward one another.
- First Aid & CPR Level C Certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check
- Clear Child Abuse Registry Check

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Covering educator vacations in all 5 classrooms
- Providing children with quality care
- Implementing positive behaviour guidance
- General cleaning & sanitizing (sweeping, mopping, laundry, wiping tables/counters/shelves)
- Communicating with parents, families, and staff
- Working as part of a team
- Maintaining an organized classroom

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.12 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
