The Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality (SHEQ) Coordinator is responsible to ensure that SHEQ requirements are in place and to maintain compliance. This position will be the primary contact for any incidents in the area, including on-site visits, customer liaison as appropriate, and audits. The SHEQ Coordinator supports the H & S Compliance Lead and the Environmental & Quality Lead with accurate data and reports. This position reports directly to the National SHEQ Manager and is located in Edmonton AB. Travel is required, mostly in Canada West, with some cross-over to other Canadian locations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Main contact for all Epiroc team members and sites for SHEQ requirements
- Primary contact for any incident in the Western Canada region
- Onsite visits and audits for adherence to requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing monthly reports

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous knowledge/experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001
- Previous experience in the mining or manufacturing industry is an asset
- Previous training or Train the Trainer experience

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

- Post secondary school education
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

**INTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent attendance
- Clear driving record

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, able to present in front of an audience
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Willing to travel more than 50% of the time
- Ability to represent the company in a professional and ethical manner
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $90,000.00 per year
