Behaviour Internventionist

**Posting for a new or experienced BI in Richmond, BC (No. 1 Road/**

**Francis Road)**

Our child is 3.5-years old and has a pleasant personality. He is fun and is active. The focus of our ABA intervention will be on shadowing him at his daycare through routines and transitions. In addition, teaching communication and language skills, peer play skills and social skills and behavioral supports.

Potential shifts:

- **1:1 intervention/ shadowing is conducted in-person in child’s daycare**:

- **Any weekdays from 3:00 - 5:00 pm**:

- **At least 3 shifts/ week, minimum of 2.0 hour/ shift - More shifts are preferred**

BI requirements:

- A clear criminal record check
- Excellent communication skills in English, ability to speak in Mandarin would be an asset
- Pursing a related field such as Psychology, Education, ECE, Special Ed., Speech and Language, etc.
- Highly motivated and great with prior ABA/ Positive Behavior

Support experience
- Enjoy working and playing with young kids
- Is able to receive constructive feedback from Behavior Consultant and Junior Behavior Consultant
- BI is required to attend periodic team meeting (on line) and overlap
- 2 months’ probation and at least 1 year of commitment upon confirmation

Training will be provided by Behavior Consultant (BCBA) and the Junior Behavior Consultant. ** Please ensure that your availability matches the shifts mentioned **.

Pay will be based on experience (~ $22/ hr - $25/ hr).

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
