Warehouse Sorter

**Job Purpose**:
The Warehouse Sorter is responsible to separate, categorize and palletize various material such as cardboard, sheets and pallets. The Sorter performs all functions related to the Company sorting department by maintaining a level of performance that follows the Company production calendar.

**Job Duties**:

- Separates, aligns and palletize various sizes of cardboard materials (boxes, cardboard sheets, gaylords)
- Separates & aligns various sizes of pallets (wood & plastic)
- Visually inspects cardboard materials to spot unsellable product
- Moves pallets using Company jigger
- Performs basic housekeeping in different areas of the warehouse
- Occasionally cut or label boxes by hand
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience (preferred)
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs unassisted
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Ability to read and respect procedures
- Regular and reliable attendance

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
