LifeLabs is the largest clinical diagnostic laboratory in Canada, with 16 laboratories across Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. With a team of 5,700 talented and dedicated employees, we conduct over 100 million laboratory tests each year that supports 20 million patient visits, 36 000 health care providers, and 382 Patient Service Centres in the community. In addition to community testing, LifeLabs provides acute care testing to over 10 long-term care facilities and hospitals.

**Major responsibilities will include**:

- Provision of diagnostic and technical expertise in Molecular testing to ensure quality performance and accurate results
- Verification and validation of new tests
- Daily laboratory rounds and provincial laboratory and clinical consult service
- Drafting and reviewing of standard operating procedures and quality control policies
- Participation in accreditation reviews
- Teaching for visiting students, residents, and fellows

This is an in-person role.

**Hiring Range: $108,200 to $152, 900**

The hiring range has been established, however, the final salary recommendation will be determined based off the level of experience, education requirement, external market conditions and internal equity.

In this position, you will be eligible for Lifelabs annual bonus.
