**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Digital & Data Delivery, the Manager, Data Systems Integration will be responsible for a variety of data analytics tasks required to drive business outcomes. These include metadata management and enrichment, data provenance and lineage, data modeling, structured query language (SQL), data quality, data profiling, extract-transform-load (ETL), report creation, and other specialized data management tasks.

The incumbent will be a strong technical leader, and self-reliant contributor with the ability to oversee and manage tasks pertaining to the planning, development, and maintenance of technical data management solutions in the Financial Services Capital Market domain.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture, translate, and convert business requirements into actionable data solutions that drive business value.
- Overseeing the design and utilization of data systems, ensuring efficient organization, analysis, security, and confidentiality, while aligning with business objectives.
- Leading the delivery of comprehensive system requirements, technical specifications, and functional documentation, following established standards and frameworks.
- Fostering close partnerships with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project managers to ensure effective communication and management of detailed functional specifications.
- Identifying growth opportunities and trends through in-depth analysis of complex data sets, offering valuable insights to support decision-making.
- Evaluating and enhancing organizational methods, developing data mappings, and information model specifications for improved data accuracy and utility.
- Creating advanced reports using data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques, promoting best practices for data-driven decision-making.
- Developing innovative approaches to solving business challenges through data analytics, effectively communicating results and methodologies.
- Proactively analyzing data to address stakeholder inquiries and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, contributing to enhanced productivity.
- Defining and documenting data dependencies and comprehensive data flow diagrams for developed solutions.
- Leading the Data Governance process by effective managing Data Lineage, Business Glossaries, and Data Catalogues.
- Documenting and improving various departmental processes and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- 6+ years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
- 4+ years’ recent experience in Capital Markets / Trading Platform workflow.
- Strong understanding of trade life cycle involving data integration between parties.
- Hands on experience with SQL & Python (intermediate to advanced is preferred).
- Experience & knowledge of various file formats like JSON, XML, FPML, CSV
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with the SDLC (testing and technical specifications), as well as a strong understanding of configurations, technical mappings, data attributes.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Confluence, and Jira
- Strong programming skills in XML, JavaScript, and ETL languages.
- Practical experience in statistical analysis using Excel, SAS, R, or Python
- Understanding of data modeling and design, with the ability to translate requirements into data models.
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

- May be required to travel up to 5% of the time.
