The Business Office is a well-established team that includes the business office manager and five financial clerks. The team plays a vital role in supporting the facility’s financial operations, including payroll, trust accounting, and accounts payable/receivable. The team values collaboration and efficiency, ensuring all tasks are completed on time to maintain smooth operations.***

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years related experience (within the last eight (8) years) in the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll. Exposure to budgeting and trust accounting is an asset.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Nationally recognized courses in Accounting or Payroll.
- Completion of a degree or diploma in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Experience with payroll.
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in BC Corrections with CORNET Trust Accounting, Time and Leave, QuickBooks, and ORACLE (CAS).

This position has full time on-site requirements.
