**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
- Responsible for preforming pre & post trip inspections, roadside repairs, and general clean-up of units
- Drives and operators hydrovac units to complete tasks associated with daylighting, excavation, trenching & shorting
- Rigging in and rigging out of equipment, hoses, fittings, pipes, etc., as per job specification
- Complete all required paperwork daily
- provide hands on assistance to crew members as required
- Read and understand drawings & making calculations and adjustments in grades
- Mentor Swamper regarding required assistance to complete job duties
- Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned
- Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license required
- General knowledge of the principals involved in the operation of construction, boring/directional drilling and underground utilities considered an asset
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) certification, an asset
- Ground Disturbance Level II, an asset
- Ability to work in field/site with travel and work hour flexibility to accommodate to remote/site work schedule
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of Pre-Access D&A testing, presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable five (5) year drivers abstract
