- Salary range**:$27.26 to $34.07/hr **(depending on experience)
- Mostly daytime schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, evenings and weekends on occasion

Durpro, a dynamic and environmentally conscious company since 1980, is currently looking for a Water & Process Technician.

**Challenges**:

- Carry out trouble shooting screening, repair and preventive maintenance mandates on our customers' water treatment equipment and systems
- Identify parts required to complete service mandates
- Write service reports and recommendations
- Install new systems and support the customer during start-up to demonstrate proper operation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service team and the company

**Your profile**:

- Engineering degree applicable in water treatment (chemical, environmental, civil, automation, electrical, industrial, mechanical)
- Good knowledge of various water treatment systems: reverse osmosis, membrane filtration, carbon adsorption, UV irradiation, ion exchange, distillation, ozone, etc.
- 1 to 3 years' work experience in a plumbing, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation-related position an asset
- Fluency in English, French an asset
- Attention to detail, impeccable honesty and integrity, ability to coach and be well organized, ability to handle pressure and problem solving ("Lego® Mastery").

**Physical Requirements**:

- Reach (including above the head), bend, climb, push, pull twist, squat, and kneel
- Ability to work in awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to work with chemicals and coal/carbon
