**Job description**

**Essential Job Functions**
- Receives and investigates automotive rust, paint, interior and tire damage claims
- Confirms coverage and determines liability
- Establishes damages and adjudicates the claim based on warranty coverages and estimates from auto body repair facilities, detailing facilities, etc.
- Reports the status back to the customer
- Negotiates the settlement of assigned cases
- Has authority to make payment of assigned claims within prescribed limits
- Estimates the cost of repair or replacement of damaged vehicles
- Represents the Company as a critical member of the customer-facing team

**Experience Requirements**

Must have experience with automotive claims settlement. The position requires knowledge of repair and replacement cost for vehicle sheet metal panels, as well as interior repair and paint repair. An asset is an individual with insurance claims settlement experience, as well as an understanding of a body shop environment.

**Special Skill Requirement**

Excellent verbal and written Communication skills, full proficiency in Windows based computing, Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
