**Responsibility and skills required**:
Knowledge of lenses, frames and coatings will be needed to help patients. Knowledge of contact lenses will be needed.

Sales and retail ability/experience. Budgeting and inventory management.

Ability to manage staff and work with others.

Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Computer proficiency - with experience using social media platforms, MS Office, and use of electronic medical records and scheduling.

Professional appearance and attitude.

**Experience**

The right attitude and willingness to learn can make up for deficiencies in experience.

**Education**

Licenced optician certificate would be ideal, but practical experience could be acceptable. An optician's license would not necessarily be required in this working arrangement.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
