**About the Position**: The Slitting Assistant is responsible for assisting the Slitting Operator in wrapping rolls of printed product in preparation for shipment to the customer or for delivery to the converting department. Basic mechanical abilities will assist in setting up the slitter accurately allowing for mínimal scrap and high quality finished product.

**What you will do as a Slitting Assistant**:

- Assist the slitter operater in machine set up, material packaging
- Perform frequent quality checks
- Input production and quality information into an ERP system

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
- Good knowledge of math and units of measurement
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Schedule**: Flex Life Schedule
- 12-hour shift, 3 days per week
- Rotating every 2 weeks days and nights (7:00AM to 7:00pm OR 7:00pm to 7:00AM)

- Must be able to reliably commute to work - own transportation.
