**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **User Support**:
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems for end-users either remotely or in person.
- **Hardware and Software Maintenance**:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and IT equipment.
- **Help Desk Assistance**:
Log, track, and escalate issues as needed.
- **Network and Security**:
Assist with network connectivity and access issues.

Implement and maintain security protocols, including antivirus updates and user access management.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred, but some positions may accept relevant certifications or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications can enhance qualifications, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Understanding of security practices and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to provide excellent customer service and remain patient and professional when dealing with end-user issues.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, document solutions, and update IT documentation.
- Ability to work cooperatively with instructors, Students and staff.

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
