**Lead Bartender**

**What we’re looking for**:

- Individual with experience as a lead bartender
- Experience working in a wedding environment
- Individual that sees bartending as an art, performance and service

- Looking specifically for strong individuals good with lifting heavy items like heavy tables, etc.
- Within commuting distance of our location. This is not an opportunity for out of country applicants or those that may need to relocate.
- An individual with experience doing event setup & teardown to lead a crew for this task would be a bonus.
- Also looking for team members in addition to crew lead.
- Should be able to work Friday, Saturday and some Sunday mornings from 8 am to at least 10 am. Longer hours may be required based on specifics of event. You don't need to work or have available all three days of a weekend, but two of the three is good as a team member.
- Number of events based on our bookings for weekends. For May to Oct 2023, we will require setup at the very least on Saturday morning and teardown Sunday morning. There will be many weekends that will also require Friday morning setup & some that will also require Sunday morning setup and late Sunday evening Teardown.
- Is detail oriented ensuring that things are set up and put away properly and according layout plans.
- Able to lead a team and give direction to those on the team

**What you will be doing**:

- Working in wedding or event environment
- Handling setup of bar including furniture, accessories, drinks
- Providing customer service facing bartending service
- Cleaning up bar after event
- Keeping bar organized including sorting of empties
- This is a detail oriented role. The details are important to have things setup correctly as per the event plan and put away in their proper place to be used for the next event.
- This is a physical job lifting, moving, setting in place. You will be moving tables, chairs, decor items and more from storage to event locations on property.
- This is a leadership job as you will likely be guiding and teaching co-tenders
- You will be interfacing with our other venue staff as well as our client's and client's representatives to ensure all involved are satisfied with the details=.

**Time Commitment**:

- Part-time, approx. 8 - 10 hours depending on event. Number of times in the weekend depending on the number of events. For Aug and Sept 2024, can anticipate Friday and Saturdays and some Sundays.
- Not required to take every shift, but are expected to take majority of shifts

**Qualifications required**:

- Previous experience required
- Great people skills
- Great bartending skill
- Education in mixology a definite asset
- Time management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good with details
- Ontario G2 or G licence with access to reliable vehicle as property is somewhat remote
- Self-motivated attitude and able to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Some experience with Google Sheets and other related Google accounts is an asset.

**Who we are**:
A family-run event business located on a farm near Bradford, ON. We host weddings, bridal showers and events of all kinds and also have Airbnb spaces on the property. The farm has been in our family for generations and we are hoping to communicate that authenticity to everyone who works with us and visits the farm.

**Compensation**:

- Starting at $18 / hour plus tips / gratuities

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed
