**Primary Focus**

The hosts primary responsibility is to recognize, greet and seat arriving guests and to acknowledge departing guests in a timely efficient manner providing sincere genuine hospitality while maintaining a proper flow of guests to each server’s section

**Main Tasks/Activities**
- Checks reservation book - ensures floor plans are complete
- Recognizes, greets and seats arriving guests and acknowledges departing guests
- Commits to guest focus
- treat every customer with sincere genuine hospitality
- Maintains the proper flow of guests to each server’s section
- Monitors tables and works with management and team members to ensure quick efficient seating of guests
- Manages wait list and advises guest on accurate wait times
- Performs related maintenance /cleaning duties as required
- Follows Health and Safety procedures set out in the Health and Safety Manual

**Education and experience**

High School education

No experience required
