On behalf of our client here in Vancouver,
** Ignite Technical Resources **is looking for a
**Business Analyst **for a
**contract opportunity.**

The incumbent engages at company’s operations and corporate offices globally with management, maintenance, and engineering personnel, as well as other technology and innovation teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with key collaborators to prioritize requirements and communicate different messages effectively to different audiences.
- Liaison between business, operations, and technology and innovation teams to accurately gather, analyze, document, and deliver business requirements including functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform needs analysis based on business requirements and ensure solutions being proposed by Development (internal and/or external developers) meet the organizational and business goals.
- Adapts to changing business requirements and business needs during active design periods; and can keep Requirement Definitions and other documentation updated accordingly.

**Qualifications**:

- 7 to 10+ years of experience in the Mining or Natural Resources industry is preferred.
- Experience with industrial access and safety systems is desirable
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (O365 preferred), SharePoint (Online), and/or PowerBI.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, problem-solving abilities, and strong knowledge of business analysis techniques.
- Ability to work comfortably with a high degree of autonomy in an environment of fast-paced change and a highly distributed team.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with mine planning, design, reporting software packages considered an asset.
- Experience with industrial sensors, instruments and equipment an asset
