**Job Overview**:
As a Used Clothing Bin Pickup Driver based out of Peterborough, Ontario, you will be responsible for driving to various locations to pick up used clothing from collection bins located at various businesses and schools. You must have a truck that can tow up to 7,000 lbs and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. This is a gig-based position, meaning you will be working on a per-job basis with a goal of earning $30 per hour after vehicle expenses and fuel, and your schedule will vary depending on the number of pickups available.

Routes are ideally completed during morning or evening hours to minimize traffic and congestion around the clothing collection bins. You will not be responsible for interacting with anyone at the locations, as the bins are unattended and can be picked up anytime.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Picking up a 14-foot closed utility trailer in Peterborough, Ontario.
- Drive to assigned pickup locations to collect used clothing donations, loaded into a utility trailer.
- Ensuring bins are clean, properly functioning, and accessible (clear of snow).
- Load items onto the truck and ensure that they are secured safely.
- Remove any loose garbage/trash around the bin.
- Transport the trailer to the designated drop-off location.
- Ensure that all electronic forms related to the pickup and delivery are completed accurately.

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work on a per-job basis, including some evenings and weekends.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable truck that can tow up to 7,000 lbs.
- Skilled and comfortable with backing up and driving a fully loaded utility trailer.
- The ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete electronic paperwork accurately.
- A commitment to safety and following traffic laws.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

**Compensation**:
As a gig worker, your compensation will vary depending on the number of pickups you complete. You will be paid a predetermined fee per pickup and mileage, which will be communicated to you before you accept the job. Payment will be made after each completed job.

The average route will take between 3-5 hours and require collections at 10-15 locations. Compensation will vary but will range from $90-$150 (including bin collection fee and mileage/gas reimbursement) depending on the route length and the number of bins to be collected.
