**Currently seeking casual Dietary Aides to join our team at North Queens Nursing Home in Caledonia, NS. North Queens Nursing home is a progressive 44 bed long term care facility which prides itself on providing high quality care to seniors.**

**Qualifications**:

- Previous food service experience required, preferably in a long term care setting
- Relevant education in Food Handling and Sanitation, Food Service Worker Course, and/or Basic Cooking are an asset
- Current WHMIS and Food Handlers Course required
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position
- Ability to work independently or as team
- Must be able to accept supervision
- Regular attendance in current and previous employment
- Experience and interest in working with seniors
- Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias care course an asset

**Rate**: as per CUPE local 2997 collective agreement
