Research best practices in portfolio management and capital prioritization across other Municipalities.
Review existing capital intake system (SharePoint) and dashboard (Power BI) and make recommendations for improvements.
Present findings and recommendations to Capital Investment Planning leaders Directors and others as required.
Provide research and analytical support to other related projects in Capital Investment Planning.
- **Qualifications**Enrolled in a diploma or degree in Business, Data Sciences & Management, IT, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy or related.
Intermediate proficiency in SharePoint, Power Business Intelligence (BI), Outlook, Excel, World and PowerPoint are required.
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) is considered an asset.
Success in this position requires skills in research, Communication skills, database analysis; organizing; critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- **Pre-Employment Requirements**Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.
