Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems under the guidance of experienced sprinkler fitters.
- Learn how to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to assemble and install piping, valves, and other fire suppression equipment.
- Participate in inspections and tests to ensure system functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in the fire protection industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced professionals.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.

**Responsibilities**:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Assemble and install machinery, equipment, and parts according to blueprints.
- Align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Perform tests to ensure that components meet specifications.
- Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
**Salary**: From $29.08 per hour
