Herbalist (Banshchik)

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Herbalist (Banshchik) to join our Banya No. 2 spa team. As an Herbalist, you will be responsible for curating and administering herbal treatments, enhancing the banya experience, and promoting holistic well-being for our spa guests. Your expertise in herbal remedies and therapies will contribute to creating a rejuvenating and relaxing environment for our clients.

**Herbal Consultations**: Conduct personalized consultations with spa clients to assess their wellness goals, health history, and preferences. Based on this information, recommend appropriate herbal treatments to address individual needs.

**Herbal Treatment Design**: Develop custom herbal treatment plans for sauna sessions, considering the therapeutic properties of various herbs, client sensitivities, and desired outcomes. Design treatments that complement the sauna experience and promote relaxation, detoxification, and overall health.

**Herbal Preparations**: Prepare herbal blends, infusions, poultices, and other herbal products used during sauna sessions. Ensure the quality, purity, and potency of the herbs, and maintain a well-organized inventory of herbal supplies.

**Sauna Enhancement**: Integrate herbal elements into sauna sessions to elevate the overall experience. This may involve creating herbal-infused steam, aromatic sachets, or herbal compresses to enhance relaxation and well-being.

**Client Education**: Educate clients about the benefits of herbal therapies, providing information about the properties of different herbs and their effects on the body. Empower clients to make informed decisions about their wellness journey.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate with other spa staff members, including massage therapists, aestheticians, and wellness coaches, to create integrated wellness programs that incorporate herbal therapies into a holistic approach.

**Hygiene and Safety**: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards when handling herbs and administering treatments. Ensure that all equipment and treatment spaces are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.

**Product Knowledge**: Stay updated on the latest developments in herbal medicine, wellness trends, and holistic practices. Continuously expand your knowledge to offer cutting-edge and effective treatments.

**Customer Engagement**: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service. Address client questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification or formal training in herbalism, naturopathy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and administering herbal treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Empathetic and client-focused approach.
- Knowledge of contraindications and potential herb-drug interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is a plus.

**Salary**: From $31.00 per hour
