The IT Leader at Roma Moulding Inc. is responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s technology infrastructure to support business operations. This role involves strategic planning, hands-on technical oversight, and leadership in implementing innovative solutions. The IT Leader ensures that systems, networks, and digital tools are secure, efficient, and aligned with Roma’s goals, fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy to support business objectives and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to align technology solutions with company goals.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the Company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware.
- Ensure robust data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware, software, and IT support services.
- Lead the implementation and integration of business systems, such as ERP, CRM, and production software, ensuring seamless functionality across departments.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup systems to ensure business continuity.
- Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with departments to identify technology-driven improvements for production, logistics, and administrative workflows.
- Analyze data and system reports to recommend process enhancements.
- Monitor IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and expenditures.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on IT performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Perform tasks as required by the CEO.
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management or leadership roles, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
- Proven experience in managing IT projects, implementing business systems, and optimizing IT infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in system integration, data security, and network management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
