Please note that effective February 12, 2023 mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer required as per the Niagara Region’s amended COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. As a result, you will not be required to submit verification of your vaccination status before starting employment with the Niagara Region. - JOB SUMMARY
- To perform housekeeping\laundry aide duties as directed by the manager.
- EDUCATION- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized course in housekeeping is preferred

KNOWLEDGE- Up to one-month current experience preferably in a long term care geriatric setting.
- Experience in operating and utilizing commercial/institutional equipment and products.

(General Requirements)- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position.
- Must be able to tolerate heat conditions.
- Must have a good attendance record.

SKILLSSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- In accordance with the Corporate Criminal Record Check Policy, the position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Records Check and submit a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate.

**Shift Information**:
Required to work days, evenings and nights including weekends. Must be willing and able to work up to 24 hours per week and declare availability of 32 hours per week.
