Under the supervision of the Manager, the Health & Safety Coordinator will be involved in assisting in all aspects of health and safety, including conducting internal food safety and cleanliness audits at all O&B locations. Additionally, assisting with other HR administrative duties required by the Human Resources team.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Audit each of Oliver & Bonacini’s restaurants and event spaces, using current internal auditing system and highlight non-compliance items in the areas of food safety and cleanliness
- Create and manage non-compliance reporting specific to health and safety policies and initiatives
- Support Manager, Health & Safety with ongoing initiatives and projects
- Manage health & safety page of company’s internal website
- Schedule and coordinate companywide health and safety training like CPR/First Aid, Joint Health and Safety Committee Part 1 and 2 certification training, and food handlers training
- Assist with development of health and safety training
- Assist with HR administrative duties required by the Human Resources team
- Additional duties and responsibilities, as required

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Management and/or Health & Safety an asset
- Safety Conscious
- Back of house restaurant experience an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Effective problem solving skills
- Passion for food, beverage and dining
- Basic or Advanced Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- Other safety certifications an asset, such as Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification, CPR/First Aid

Please note, this is a full time position with hours of work being Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
