**Responsibilities**:

- Verify product / accessories to be packed match orders before packing items according to packing procedures
- Plan, coordinate and schedule transportation for outbound shipments including obtaining quotes and booking international air shipments / ocean freight containers
- Use container loading software to create optimal loading plan for outbound containers
- Prepare, maintain and complete all documentation related to packing, and shipping, including, serial numbers, packing slips, bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping manifests.
- Collaborate with carriers, and internal teams to streamline operations.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics, including delays, damages or misplacements
- Track On Time Delivery (OTD) and update shipping records accordingly
- Monitor packaging inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock.
- Communicate with buyer/planner required materials, and consumable items
- Work with the engineering team to develop packing materials for new products
- Attend daily dashboard meeting at start of shift
- Load/off-load containers/trucks as required
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as required
- Provide recommendations to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping workstation organized and clean
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Follow all Company policies and procedures including ISO quality standards
- Other duties as required

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, arranging domestic and international shipments
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating fork lifts
- Experience with using ERP systems and container loading software is an asset

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work with shipping deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move packages weighing under 1 and up to 50 lbs. with the range of: floor to waist / waist to shoulder / above shoulder
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently required to stand / walk / stoop (a posture in which the head and shoulders are bent forward and downward) over a seven-hour period

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
