**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

Funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Employment Ontario services are available to assist both job seekers and employers.

As an Employment Consultant, you will:

- Develop employment opportunities for clients
- Provide client employment and training needs assessment and case management
- Develop Service Plans
- Provide instruction, individual support and advocacy
- Facilitate workshops
- Complete reporting requirements
- Collaborate with local training providers
- Work with local employers to provide placements

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**

Annual salary range: $43,388 to $49,238 plus comprehensive benefits

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Have a College Diploma in a Human/Social Services or Business field, with a Career Practitioner/Job Development certificate an asset
- Have a minimum 1-year experience in a related field
- Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
- Access to reliable transportation, as some travel may be required
- Ability to manage exposure to vicarious traumatic stress
