Team Leader
- Full-Time, Temporary: June 1 - October 31, 2023
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

**Creative Children** is one of the largest distributors of art & school supplies in Western Canada supplying daycares and public & private schools. We have a close-knit team of dedicated staff that has made us the success we are today

We are currently seeking an amazing individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for success and loves a challenge to join our Creative Pack team.

You will mentor & lead by example a team of post-secondary summer students through the summer to assemble school supply packs with absolute accuracy & efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently manage the flow of the assembly lines
- Liaise & co-ordinate operations with office
- Ensure & verify accuracy of all packs produced by the team
- Following through on all aspects of the packing cycle ensuring accuracy
- Assessing & managing stock levels. Replenishing assembly warehouse areas regularly
- Ensuring production targets are being maintained
- Training of new summer staff
- Create a positive & motivating atmosphere for the team
- Supervising the team and ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed.
- Ensure the safety of the facility & all team members.

**Qualifications include**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a team lead role
- Expected to come to work 5 days per week, arrive to work on time & work an 8 hour day which will be mostly standing/walking in a warehouse
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Ability to make decisions regarding production needs and requirements
- Problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Periodic knee bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
