**Dixon Automotive Group i**s looking a motivated **Experienced Autobody Technician**for our location in Brockville, ON. We are looking for someone who has a passion for cars, strong critical thinking skills, works well with others, and willingness to learn and work hard. This is a full-time position and the compensation to be discuss based on experience

**Maintenance and repair of vehicles may include**:

- Reviewing work order
- Dismantling vehicles and diagnosing visual and internal damage
- Repairing and replacing parts
- Reassembling vehicles Maintaining shop equipment and facility
- Assisting journeyman technicians
- Coordinating with the other shop areas and Shop manager

**To be successful in the trade, they must have**:

- Must have own tools (Basic Set)
- Good understanding of the concepts of health and safety as a workplace practice and as an overall wellness and lifestyle decision
- Fluid and concise writing, reading and speaking communication skills in English.
- Good vision, hearing and sense of smell to diagnose problems
- The strength and stamina required to work with various equipment and work in cramped or awkward positions
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Mechanical ability and an interest in all types of machinery and engines, electronics and precision equipment
- Previous experience doing Estimations and Autobody repairs
- The ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology
- Ability to execute work within standard repair times
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and inspection criteria
- Knowledge of inventory control

- High school or equivalent:
