Almac is currently recruiting for a **Draftsperson** to work in our office in Southeast Edmonton.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with others in an office environment within the metal building manufacturing.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**:

- High school diploma as well as education in drafting and design is required.
- Experience drafting structural steel preferably within the metal building industry.
- 2D Auto CAD is a requirement with 3D Auto CAD being considered an asset.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret scope of work and specifications.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint would be an asset.
- Must be able to work individually as well as effectively collaborate with others.
- Effectively communicate with other staff and customers to create and confirm project
details**.**
- Create a structural bill of materials.
- Create building material cut lists and layouts for building fabrication.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

**Salary**: $63,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
