The Waegwoltic is a seasonal recreation club located on the Northwest Arm in Halifax. Not only are we a scenic getaway in the heart of the city, but we also host a multitude of events and programs for our members to attend. Our property includes tennis courts, outdoor pools, moorings, and 5 buildings.

We are looking for 2 people to help cover our Club Car Attendant on the weekends (one person cover Saturday, and the other Sunday) and then work as a team to clean our Lido pool during the week.

As a Club Car Attendant you would be responsible for driving members from the parking lot down to our Lido pool at the bottom of our hill and back. This shift is always 10am-6pm and will be on the weekend.

Pool cleaners are responsible for cleaning sand and other debris from the Lido pool. This will normally be twice a week in the morning only. The exact time for that shift can depend on what the team is comfortable with, but normally 6am-10/11am, or 8am-12/1pm.

Start date will be around June 28th, but depends on when the Lido pool opens. It will continue until August, and into September if available.

**Typical job duties include**:

- Driving members around the property.
- Checking drop off/pick up locations for members waiting for a lift.
- Cleaning pool from pool edge and from raft.
- Using a brush or vacuum for pool cleaning.
- Professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Experience working with customers.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to work alone.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Experience driving (a full license isn't necessary, as long as you have proven experience).
- Ability to swim short distance.

We may require a background check to be completed upon hire, paid by the Club. Please let us know if you are willing to complete one.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 20 per week
