**Terminal Operator (Full-time)**

**Why is this role important?**

As a Terminal Operator, your primary responsibilities lie in managing operations in the yard and office while ensuring cargo's secure and efficient movement and operating large machinery to transfer materials between trucks and other equipment. You will oversee the daily operations of the Goderich main and harbour yards.

The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential. Your professional expertise in this role will be instrumental in upholding the highest safety and operational standards, guaranteeing the success of cargo handling operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Operate heavy equipment

Manage operations in the yard and assist when needed

Mixing chemical products

Maintaining and repairing equipment

Small Engine Repair (Honda Pumps, etc.)

Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous trucks while following all safety procedures

Follow company protocols while carrying out job responsibilities and utilize proper PPE

Performing upkeep and care for the facility, tanks, pipes, and valves

Conduct routine and comprehensive maintenance on meters, valves, tanks, and pumps

Maintain equipment records for terminal and transfer piping operations, ensuring accurate and organized documentation

Work overtime during the busy period from April to July; regular days and times are from August to March, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m., approximately.

**Who you are**:
Minimum of 3 years of experience

AZ or DZ License is an asset

Possess proficiency in mechanical aptitude, plumbing, and pipe fitting experience

Welding experience is an asset

Experience with live load and chemicals

Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and multitasking skills
