Dieman

We are looking for a DIEMAN for our Ancaster location. This position will be reporting to the Converting Superintendent.

**Broad Purpose**:
To safely clean and repair dies in a timely manner to produce quality products per Company quality policy.

**General Job Duties**:

- To prepare printing dies and ink pails to each production machine for every order
- Liaison with the Supervisor for orders to be run
- Pull dies to be run and place at work area
- Verify dies are complete and in good shape
- Liaison with other plants re die transfer
- Repair and/or replace broken dies or tracks
- Supply head office die department with rub offs of dies that must be replaced
- Coordinate with outside contractors die repairs
- Keep a record of incoming and outgoing dies
- Clean used dies and replace in appropriate location
- Visually inspect for any non-conformances
- Follow all ISO procedures
- Report all problems to your supervisor or operator when they occur
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work closely with office for new orders, quoting and lay outs
- Other sundries duties as assigned by supervisor or lead hand
- Abide by all rules and regulations of the Company

**Education**:
Minimum Grade 12 education

Must be able to read and write English

Must be able to read a tape measure both imperial and metric

Add, subtract, multiply and divide

**Essential Skills/Qualifications**:
Previous manufacturing experiences

Machine operation skills

Organization skills

Good communication

Flexibility to work rotating shifts

Team Player

Self starter
