Siding Installer

Calgary, Canada Double D Excavation Corp Full time

**Main duties**:

- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Measure, cut and assist install vinyl siding using hand and power tools to wall surfaces
- Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products such as siding and trim panels using hand and power tools.
- Deal with other trade schedules and management requests.
- Load and unload material to and from site.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site
- Working together in a team environment

**Employment requirements**:

- No education requirements
- Obey all on-site and company safety requirements in accordance to OH&S Act and Regulations
- Participate in the company safety culture by attending tail gate meetings and other such activities required
- Must be fit to perform physical work and to lift a minimum of 75-85 lbs
- Demonstrate team playing attitude, must be punctual and proficient
- A driver's license may be required

**Additional information**:

- Product specific training provided on-site
- Previous work experience installing building envelope products an asset
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Must own safety steel toed boots and basic tool pouch
- ALL other tools provided

**Working Conditions**:

- Workdays are Monday to Fridays, starting at 7 am, for 8 hours minimum
- 1 hour lunch break (0.5 hour of which is paid)
- May be required to work overtime
- Frequent exposure to excessive noise, dirt and other possible dangers
- Fast paced environment, attention to details an asset
- Will be required to work in the winter cold and summer heat

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: paid upon experience

Schedule:

- 8-12 hour shift availabilities
- Weekends work only on voluntaries basis

**Experience**:

- Building Materials Installation Occupations: 1 year (required)

**Salary**: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Viny Siding: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English or French (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver liscence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
