ICON is seeking a talented Animator to join our team. In development, you’re up on trends and techniques and how to differentiate them. As an Animator, you have a vision and are able to work well with our ICON Media content department.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Optimization of Pre-Existing assets, including video and static files
- Working from templates to build 2D animations.
- Assist with developing spec sheets for client usage.
- Help to support Motion Graphics Team with overflow.
- Organization and asset collection

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2-3 years experience in Motion Graphic Design
- Degree or diploma in either motion design, animation, video production and/or multimedia
- Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite [Specifically After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere]
- Ability to understand and incorporate expressions/scripts in After Effects
- Flexible and open to work outside of normal business hours when required.
- Portfolio or any example of creative work required.

- High Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of design fundamentals, typography, optimization
- Sense of composition and fundamental understanding of editing and pacing
- Excellent creative instincts and a keen eye for colour, space, timing, and movement aesthetics
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Reliable teammate with the ability to work independently when needed.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
