Milk Receiver

Lactalis is one of Canada’s leading producers of premium quality food products including milk, cheese, and yogurt. We are currently recruiting for a Milk Receiver to join our team at our Toronto facility which produces yogurt.

**General Accountability**:
The Milk Receiver is responsible for milk receiving, testing the milk prior to unloading truck, CIP the milk truck, cream tanks, skim tanks, milk sample taking and entering data into SAP, troubleshooting any processing issues, and assisting the panel Operators in Sanitary Maintenance.

**Critical Success Factors**:

- Sanitary maintenance and equipment assembly
- CIP and CIP titration
- Quality Control checks, production reporting and documentation
- Troubleshooting processing issues
- Able to lift 40 kgs (capable of lifting 3” valve) open and close Thermiser/ Separator
- Climbing milk trucks
- Any other duties required
- Food or dairy processing experience in a similar role is preferred
- Intermediate math and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comfortable with physical work and working in different temperatures
- Completion of Grade 12

**SHIFT**:Night Shift Tuesday - Saturday 8.00 pm to 4.30 am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $24.82 per hour
