Snow Plow

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Snow & Ice Control workers perform work to help provide safe passage for persons and motor vehicles on commericla and industrial properties and sidewalks.
- Snow Plow Operators will operate a G class rated snow plow truck for which a clean drivers abstract is required.
- Sidewalk cleaners will use sidewalk sized tractors with plows and or will have manual duties with shovels.
- Ability to safely operate required equipment & tools for snow clearing in winter season
- Snow removal operations including hand shoveling, spreading ice melter, and the use of snow blowers.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to work in all weather
- Must be punctual and reliable

**PREFERRED SKILLS**
- Ability to cut grass
- Rake and collect refuse
- Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
- Plant flowers and shrubs
- Remove litter and garbage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
