Assistant Site Superintendent

Edmonton, Canada Blackstone Homes Ltd. Full time

Blackstone Homes Ltd. is award winning semi-custom home builder with 6 show homes in Edmonton area. We are looking for a Assistant Site Supervisor for our sites immediately. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Assistant Site Supervisor assists with maintenance, safety, quality control, and deficiency repair of multiple residential construction sites in one or more subdivisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain construction sites by ensuring sites are clear of garbage and debris, inside and outside during construction of homes.
- Installing locks and signage on houses,
- Moving building materials,
- Performing snow removal, water pumping and pressure washing,
- Ensuring that access into and out of home sites are safe and clean (this includes stairs, ramps, guardrails, sidewalks, and driveways).
- Performing deficiency repairs such as framing repairs, minor taping and paint repairs, window install, cabinet and flooring touch ups, door adjustment, cleaning, stair and handrail installation, installation of locks and miscellaneous hardware, flooring repairs.
- Install and maintain temporary walkways, stairs, ramps, and handrails to ensure the safe access to construction sites.
- Complete Weekly Hazard assessments and report any safety issues immediately.
- Assist with quality control checks at foundation, framing, insulation, and pre-occupancy as instructed.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a clean Drivers Abstract and a reliable vehicle.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
