Housekeeper/Server Combo Position - Contract Salary + TIPS ** BONUS payable upon completion of contract

EXPERIENCED ONLY- Super Fantastic Housekeepers/Servers combo wanted for summer season at remote coastal fishing lodge on the mystical BC Coast. The Great Bear Rainforest is a very special part of BC that few people get to experience. Surrounded by breath-taking scenery, wildlife & world class fishing. This setting is a spectacular place to work.

HOUSEKEEPING includes: daily DETAILED cleaning of guest rooms & ensuites, staff house & staff common areas, all washrooms, office building and general cleaning of all areas of the lodge, especially laundry room Laundry Laundry Laundry Guest room nightly turn down duties. Also responsible for keeping all guests outerwear clean & organized.

General cleaning, organizing & maintaining of all areas of the lodge.

You will be standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling and moving quickly for extended periods of time in variable weather conditions. This is a very physical role with daily repetitive tasks.

All team members help one another throughout our days and our shifts as workloads, guest needs, and projects ebb and flow, so there will be times when you are asked to assist with other tasks onsite.

You will also be SERVING - includes: food service, set up/take down every meal in dining room & staff meal room for 3 x meal/day & late night snack. Supporting the Chefs with meal prep, cleaning & dishes (for guests and staff). Yes, Dishes, Dishes, Dishes In charge of cleaning, organizing and keeping the Bar/Lounge fully stocked with guest orders, bar supplies and all bar snacks/provisions. Inventory of pop, booze and dry storage when necessary.

The emphasis is on teamwork and jumping in whenever necessary to get the job done.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY - Ensuring that a first class service is delivered to all areas of the lodge and world-class customer service direct to the guests. Help create memories of a lifetime

You: Driven & hard working. Quick to complete tasks, ability to multitask and work independently. An urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner. Timing is everything A spirited team player looking for an adventure that can handle the intense and isolated work environment.

Work is 11 hrs/day split shift, 7 days/week for 7 weeks July & Aug. No days off.

All our employment contracts are in compliance with Employment Standards Pay Regulations & INCLUDES OVERTIME as per BC Employment Standards.
