**Responsibilities**:

- Independently lead and execute carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Perform accurate measurements, cuts, and installations of framing components for new builds and renovations.
- Expertise in drywall installation, including hanging, taping, and mudding.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, and priming.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of projects.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working as a Carpenter, independently managing projects in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in framing, drywall installation, and painting.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to accurately interpret and follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team when required.
- Solid communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.51 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 5 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
