**As a Tax Manager, you’ll help our clients with corporate tax planning so they can benefit from tax savings and incentives. Here’s some of what you’ll get to do**:

- Coaching and mentoring a team of tax colleagues on compliance, helping them walk in clients' shoes by discussing tax planning options
- Establish deep trusting relationships with clients as you advise them on complex tax matters
- Review corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements, and analyze, review and complete corporate and personal income tax returns
- Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other team members
- Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services

- You’re enrolled in or have completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Masters of Taxation degree
- You’ve developed and presented new ideas and conceptualized new approaches and tax solutions for clients as part of your commitment to providing exceptional client service
- You have solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance
- You’ve helped mentor and develop others

**A typical day...**
You meet with the CEO of an automotive manufacturer and Jeff, the Assurance Partner, discussing the latest developments in modern production equipment and how it impacts their growth ambitions. You go for a coffee with new colleague, Ally, mentoring her and sharing your experiences on your unique CPA journey, as she begins her very own. When you get a text from the CFO of a mid-sized construction client, you call Tax Principal, Jaclyn, and set up a time for all of you to meet at their office tomorrow. But not before a friendly game of Mario Kart in the break room.
