**Office/Building Cleaner (full-time)**

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator and with the Director of Finance & Administration, the
Maintenance Worker will handle many duties to keep all Knowles Centre properties in working order and safe for employees. Some of the most important duties and responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities:
Job Duties:

- Sweep, mop, wax, polish floors,
- dust all office furniture, wash tables
- vacuum all carpets
- distribute hand towel and toiletries,
- clean and disinfect bathrooms,
- wash walls, windows and banisters/railings, dust ceilings,
- pick up debris/garbage on grounds and in all buildings,
- empty trash containers, sort recycling,
- cleaning dining room and kitchen,
- cutting grass, shoveling snow.

Qualifications:

- Completion of High School
- Must have 1- 2 years of building cleaning experience
- Capable to lift heavy object up to 50lbs and should be in overall good physical health
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important work
- Must be able to multitask and juggle a variety of tasks
- May be required to do overtime
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
- Speak, read and write English fluently
