Meat Cutter

The Meat Clerk is responsible for the presentation and stocking of meat products for display and the cleanliness of the meat department. Also provides customer service including locating products, and answering general inquiries.
- Maintains display case by stocking wrapped fresh, frozen and processed meat, rotating and labeling the product, and updating the signage and tags as directed by the company policy.
- Supports the Meat Manager and Meat Cutter by maintaining and replenishing product inventory, by checking stock levels, and preparing and processing customer’s orders. Also required to weigh, wrap and price meat products.
- Serves customers by greeting them, processing orders, providing information and responding to concerns.
- Performs administrative duties such as preparing in-store transfers as required, maintaining logs, maintaining correct pricing by maintaining signs and tags, and counting inventory.
- Maintains appearance of the department and ensures compliance with government legislation (Food Safety, Health and Safety) by cleaning and sanitizing preparation areas and, coolers. Performs other related duties as required

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
