Description:
Homestead Co-op is hiring a Part Time Bakery Clerk with Benefits at our Carman Food Store location. The ability to prepare and decorate specialty cakes, birthday cakes and cupcakes is preferred.

Who we are:
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Bakery Manager your duties will include, but are not limited to; responsible fulfilling specialty orders as well as merchandising, quality control, packaging, housekeeping and inventory control. Must adhere to the safe food handling practices at all times and rotation practices at all times and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

- You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
- You are highly motivated.
- You possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to prepare and decorate specialty cakes, birthday cakes and cupcakes.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days and evenings.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated and strive to be the best in what you do.
