**The Big Picture**
The Scientific Affairs Specialist will execute research initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of evidence strategies to support product innovation and adoption. This role involves analyzing study data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and writing scientific affairs material.
**Impact Through Innovation**
- Prepare and maintain scientific reports and records
- Assist in development and execution of evidence development strategies
- Discuss with internal and external stakeholders opportunities for clinical studies and publications
- Contribute to the scientific material included in the promotional material
- Assist with scientific and/or reimbursement assessment of new products and changes made to the product
- Assist with study design for white papers, clinical publications, etc.
- Analyze data to generate insights and support product claims
- Respond to information requests related to scientific affairs from internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated with scientific literature and advancements in the field
- Assist with other scientific affairs activities
- Comply with the Health & Safety policies of the company and inform management of unsafe working conditions
- Travel as required (occasional)
- Other duties as required
**Your Unique Expertise**
**Required skills**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in scientific affairs
- Knowledge of scientific publication guidelines
- Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools
- Excellent written skills, with proven experience in scientific writing
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Proven work ethics and positive attitude
- Excellent customer services skills
- Attention to accuracy, detail and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working individually and/or in a team setting
- Ability to adapt and be flexible
- Excellent interpersonal skills
